Job summary

Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille in Ocala, FL is seeking a friendly server for a part-time role. You will take and deliver orders, greet guests, input orders into the POS, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.

You will uphold safety and sanitation policies, follow liquor regulations, and work with a positive attitude in a team environment. Prior serving experience and English fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk and carry food trays for prolonged periods.
• Organized, clean and with a sense of urgency.
• Flexible schedule - days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage, including order-taking, delivery and clearing.
• Check station for set-up and cleanliness before, during and after shift.
• Greet guests and explain specials/promotions.
• Take orders and input into POS to inform kitchen.
• Retrieve orders, confirm accuracy and deliver to guests.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Comply with liquor policies and regulations concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
• Work with a positive attitude in a team atmosphere.
• Aim to be a seller, not just an order taker.
• Maintain attention to detail and uphold company standards.
• Practice safety and sanitation at all times.
