Job summary

Aramark is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet guests, process transactions, and help ensure smooth service in our operations. You will balance cash, operate a POS, and support the team with accurate transactions and helpful customer service.

The role emphasizes reliability, basic math, and adherence to cash handling policies. Training may include Food Handler and Alcohol Service requirements depending on location.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash/credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating needs.
• Count, organize and balance cash drawer; fill cashier slip and deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies.
• Know merchandise to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Complete opening/closing procedures as assigned for unit based on operating hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service.
• Ensure stock levels are stocked to appropriate levels and replenish items as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
