McAlister’s Deli in Gainesville, FL is hiring Team Members to deliver warm hospitality and great food experiences. You’ll greet guests, take orders, learn the menu, and handle cash responsibly at your station, while keeping the dining area stocked and clean for service.

Applicants should have at least 1 year in casual dining, strong communication, and a positive attitude. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is appreciated, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of casual restaurant experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS software required.
• ServSafe license preferred or obtainable per state mandates.
• Strong leadership and grooming standards.
• Flexible to work evenings, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly greeting and engage in conversation.
• Take accurate orders and manage cash responsibly at your drawer.
• Deliver prepared orders and address guest concerns promptly.
• Keep station stocked, clean, and ready for service.
• If in back-of-house, craft menu items to McAlister’s recipes.
