Job summary

Givens Estates, a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, is looking for a Full-Time Customer Service Specialist to help support our Independent Living Dining team. The primary purpose is to create a warm and inviting dining experience for returning and new residents/guests.

The schedule requires availability Monday through Saturday with shifts 10:30am-7:30pm (Mon-Fri) and 10:30am-2:30pm (Sat). What you'll do: Proficient with the POS system, open/close duties, stock beverage stations

Qualifications

1 years’ experience in food service operations.
Working knowledge of sanitary standards related to food handling and preparation.
Must know or have the ability to handle and operate equipment in assigned area.

Responsibilities

Is proficient in the use of the POS system. Will provide cross training to other staff regarding the use of the POS system
Completes opening and closing duties in a timely manner
Keeps beverage station, condiments, silverware and all customer supplies stocked before, during and after service
Maintains high quality customer service and is the primary person responsible for customer service
Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for new team members
Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
