Job summary

Global Partners LP in West Rutland, Vermont seeks a friendly Guest Service Associate to greet guests, enhance the shopping experience, and support store-level tasks. You will operate the POS, ensure safety and cleanliness, and help manage inventory while delivering excellent customer service.

You will also assist with vendor check-ins, merchandising projects, and basic duties to keep the store running smoothly, including minor-knife safety guidelines for minors where applicable.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the POS and maintain cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Perform housekeeping and stock replenishment duties.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors according to guidelines.
• Assist with gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
