Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly in a polite manner.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register, bags merchandise efficiently.
• Maintains accuracy during transactions and proper cash handling, follows security guidelines.
• Follows store guidelines for tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads and promotions to answer questions.
• Keeps department clean and meets health/OSHA requirements.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department/store operation.
• Uses provided PPE (gloves, footwear, etc.).
• May assist in other departments.
