Job summary

The Local in Raleigh, NC is seeking a friendly server to join our front-of-house team. You will be the service expert, know the menu, greet guests, take orders, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. Sunday availability is required and you will represent the brand with professionalism.

Starting pay is $2.15/hr plus tips, with opportunities to earn more through excellent guest service and upselling. You will work with supervisors to resolve issues and uphold sanitation and safety standards

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
• Demonstrate sound moral and ethical principles at work.
• Works effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter orders in POS.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and hygienic manner.
• Welcome and greet guests with a smile and provide attentive service.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes and make recommendations.
• Answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services.
• Prepare final bill and process payments as applicable.
