Job summary

Boondocks Food & Fun in Parker, CO is hiring a Restaurant/Lane-side Server to provide friendly, efficient service to guests.

You will take orders, serve drinks and food, handle payments and help guests enjoy a fun, safe and clean dining and bowling environment while promoting park amenities.

This role requires at least 18 years old, weekend availability and the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Ability to operate computer, cash register and credit card verification equipment.
• Previous cash handling and guest interaction experience is preferred.
• Basic reading and mathematical skills; handle money and give correct change.
• Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and standard drink recipes.
• Ability to stay organized under pressure and maintain quality service.

Responsibilities

• Take, prepare and serve all beverages and/or food orders placed by guests.
• Welcome each guest personally.
• Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words and body language.
• Suggestive selling to guests.
• Anticipate guest needs and acknowledge signals.
• Check IDs for alcohol service eligibility.
• Serve food/beverages at tables or lanes.
• Clear tables and take dishes to kitchen.
• Process payments and thank guests by name.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining, bar and bowling areas.
• Complete opening, mid-day or closing duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Be detail oriented and dedicated to outstanding service.
