Job summary

Citrus Fresh Grill is hiring a Restaurant Server in Aliso Viejo. The role focuses on creating a pleasant dining experience by greeting guests, describing specials, and taking drink and food orders with accuracy.

You will upsell daily specials while maintaining menu knowledge and responding to guest questions clearly. You will also be responsible for delivering meals, checking back with guests, and processing payments efficiently.

Qualifications

• General Food Service/Restaurant knowledge and experience.
• Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Able to bend, lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers to the Restaurant as they are seated and use names of regular customers.
• Offer a menu, describe daily specials, take drink orders.
• Assist customers in selecting food orders and make recommendations.
• Promote daily specials and healthy alternatives; discuss low-fat options.
• Be knowledgeable about menu items and respond to questions concisely.
• Handle substitutions and special requests where possible.
• Enter orders into the POS system promptly; ensure requests are clear for the cooks.
• Check in with tables, refill drinks, and update customers on order status.
• Deliver meals when prepared and verify order accuracy.
• Ensure customers are satisfied and thank them as they leave.
• Open and close station with neatness and stocking; bus tables and reset places.
