Job summary

The Old Spaghetti Factory in San Diego is seeking a friendly, guest-focused Server to join our team. Interacting with guests to provide menu recommendations and deliver orders in a professional manner is essential.

You will process payments, check on guests, collaborate with the team, and maintain accuracy and timing for each table in a fast-paced family-friendly setting. Prior restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide menu recommendations, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests.
• Complete orders and process payment transactions in POS system.
• Make recommendations based on guests' preferences and dietary needs.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with accuracy and presentation.
• Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests.
• Provide attentive and personalized service and collaborate with team.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
