Job summary

GATEWAY GRILL INC is seeking an experienced Server to join our team. The Server will be the face of the restaurant, building rapport with customers, taking orders, and serving food and drinks with attention to detail.

The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server is preferred.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from customers
• Answer questions about the menu and preparation
• Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff
• Check with customers periodically during their meals to ensure they are satisfied
• Take orders from customers for food and beverages
• Provide customers with their checks at the end of the meal and process payment
