Job summary

Gator's Dockside in Melbourne, FL is seeking seasoned servers who will take orders and serve food to guests with a positive attitude. You will work with bartenders, runners, cooks and other staff to ensure a smooth dining experience in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders on a Toast handheld, recommending menu items, and processing payments while ensuring guests leave satisfied. Prior experience in fast-paced service and teamwork is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with staff.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised and handle money accurately.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders from our guests accurately and with a positive attitude.
• Input guest food and drink orders on a Toast handheld.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner and know the menu to suggest items.
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and address any problems.
• Prepare checks itemizing and totaling meal costs and taxes.
• Collect payments from tables and manage POS transactions.
• Assist food preparation staff when necessary.
