Job summary

Wave Resort in New Jersey seeks a friendly Server to greet guests, take food and drink orders, and provide attentive service in our dining room. You will complete opening and closing duties, ensure accurate guest checks, and assist with special requests while upholding our service standards.

Requirements include fluency in English, a Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable, 6th grade math, 6 months to 1 year serving experience preferred, and the ability to communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Requires 6th grade math level.
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders from restaurant guests.
• Serve orders and accommodate special requests.
• Ensure accuracy of guest checks and payment.
• Perform opening/closing side work and restock as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety procedures.
