Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous customer service by discovering guest’s needs.
• Rings up all sales on cash register, or point-of-sale equipment properly and accurately.
• Maintains ethical integrity while handling money and checks.
• Follows policies to prevent loss or cash and merchandise.
• Safeguards cash and merchandise and follows robbery prevention procedures.
• Performs duties necessary to maintain store cleanliness.
• Reacts and reports to customer complaints promptly.
• Follows laws governing restricted beverage and tobacco sales.
• Performs service transactions as per company policy.
• Adheres to safety and security policies.
• Prepares accident/incident reports and reports to management.
• Maintains gas island cleanliness and stock levels.
• Complies with food safety behaviors.
• Receives products from vendors following correct procedures.
• Maintains merchandise rotation, storage, stocking, and pricing.
• Assists in maintaining proper inventory levels.
• Maintains knowledge of products offerings and promotions.
• Completes required paperwork accurately.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
