Job summary

Wegmans in New York is seeking a Front End Customer Service Team member to ensure customers end their shopping trips with a positive experience. You will engage customers, maintain parking lot safety, and assist with cart retrieval to create a welcoming shopping environment.

You will proactively offer extra help, thank customers for choosing Wegmans, and provide services during inclement weather while upholding our standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in food service, grocery or retail.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and safety of the parking lot, gather shopping carts and pick up garbage
• Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling
• Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank the customer for shopping at Wegmans
• Offer additional service during inclement weather
