Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and stock merchandise; rotate and face on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers and operate cash register; bag purchases and provide change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and set up sidewalk displays when required.
