Job summary

Flanigan's near Town of Florida is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage seating, and maintain a smooth flow on busy service floors. You will welcome guests with Flanigan’s Smile Talk, escort them to tables, answer questions, and coordinate wait lists in a fast-paced dining environment.

Ideal candidates are able to lift up to 50 lbs, commit to Florida vendor and food safety certifications, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to greet guests warmly and manage seating.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must complete Florida Responsible Vendor and food safety certifications.
• English literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage seating flow.
• Answer phones and direct guests to staff.
• Maintain foyer and host station cleanliness.
• Manage wait list efficiently.
• Communicate guest questions or concerns to Manager on duty.
• Restock and clean menus; keep restroom area tidy.
• Answer calls within 4 rings and assist guests.
• Conclude visits with a friendly goodbye.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and sidework.
