Job summary

Sauced BBQ& Spirits in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage wait times and guide them to tables. You will also assist with phone inquiries, take and ring in orders, and help with To Go packaging.

A supportive team environment and fast-paced dining flow are part of daily duties. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of customer service experience, a can-do attitude, strong communication, and the ability to be on your feet for long periods.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service or guest service experience preferred.
• Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
• Continuous use of hands and arms.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine enthusiasm and warmth upon arrival or over the phone.
• Inform guests of wait time, enter guest names into the system and seat guests.
• Assist guests in making menu selections over the phone and take/ring in orders.
• Package To Go food and beverages and process payments.
• Assist fellow team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and keep restrooms clean and orderly.
