Scale by 3 in California is seeking a friendly Part-time host/cashier to greet and seat guests, manage the seating wait list, and handle transactions with a positive demeanor.

You will operate the POS terminal, answer phone orders, and work in a fast-paced dining environment. Flexibility, weekend/holiday availability, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required; compensation starts at $16.90 per hour plus tips.

Responsabilités

• Greet and seat guests, while managing the online seating wait list to determine dining flow
• Welcome and thank guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Handle guest check transactions, following proper cash handling procedures, processing gift cards and rewards program transactions
• Operate the point of sale computer terminal
• Answer the restaurant phone and enter to-go food orders
• Respond appropriately to guest requests and concerns, communicating them to servers or management as deemed appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas during and after service
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Follow verbal and written instructions from the management team
• Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with coworkers, management, and guests
• Work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
• Performs opening and closing duties, as needed, assisting with cleaning, stocking, etc
• Assist in additional tasks and deep cleaning projects as directed by management
