Job summary

Village Inn in Albuquerque is seeking a Host or Cashier to warmly welcome guests, manage the waitlist, hand out menus, and seat guests.

You will handle transactions at the cash register, assist servers, keep the dining room tidy, and help ensure a friendly, efficient dining experience. No prior experience is required beyond completion of training; the position offers flexible hours, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old and meet state age requirements.
• No one under 18 may operate, clean, adjust or touch a slicer or mixer.
• Completion of required training program.
• Ability to handle payments and operate cash register.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests to the venue.
• Greeting guests and managing waiting list.
• Providing menus and answering questions.
• Seating guests and assigning tables.
• Managing payments and cash/credit transactions.
• Responding to complaints and resolving them.
• Assisting servers and bussers as needed.
• Maintaining clean dining room and front lobby.
