Job summary

Buc-ee's, Ltd. is hiring a friendly cashier to deliver fast, accurate checkout services. You will handle transactions, comply with beer-purchase laws, balance tills, assist with stocking, and respond to customer needs in a busy retail environment. Weekend availability is needed, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic math skills.
Listen to the needs of the customer and communicate clearly.
Attain mastery knowledge of POS functions.
Able to function in a fast-paced work environment.
Stand, walk, and lift up to 40-50 pounds regularly.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Execute a clean, friendly and in-stock checkout experience for every customer.
Accurately transacts customer items for checkout on POS and accepts all payment methods.
Transact beer purchases in accordance with state laws.
Balance cash drawer at beginning and end of each shift.
Process exchanges and refunds per company policy.
Maintain clean and tidy checkout area.
Assist in stocking, rotating merchandise and labeling prices.
Serve as first responder to customer complaints.
Train new cashiers and perform other duties as required.
