Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in California is seeking friendly Cashiers who greet guests, take orders at the POS, handle payments, and answer questions with menu recommendations. You’ll help ensure accuracy of takeout and dine-in orders and maintain a clean front counter in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and reliability. You should be 16+, able to work evenings, weekends, and late shifts, with any required food-safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Friendly, enthusiastic and guest-driven approach to service.
• Must be at least 16 years old and eligible to work.
• Must obtain/maintain required food safety certifications where required.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts.
• Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and late shifts.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented and focused on delivering a great guest experience every shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout a shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a friendly smile and provide outstanding customer service.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately.
• Answer guest questions and make menu recommendations when needed.
• Ensure all takeout and dine in orders are accurate before they leave the counter.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter area.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work closely with the kitchen and team members to ensure fast and accurate service.
• Help maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant and support other team members as needed.
