Job summary

Lowes Foods in Mooresville, NC is seeking a friendly, customer-focused cashier to greet guests and process orders at the checkout lanes.

You will handle cash and card transactions, maintain a clean work area, assist guests in loading orders, and work with team members to ensure a smooth, efficient shopping experience. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and delivering prompt, accurate service to maintain the store's high guest arrival and checkout standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process guest’s orders to insure proper recording of sales.
• Accurately handle all monies and tender to insure proper accounting of all transactions.
• Properly bag guests’ orders, place in cart or hand to guest, and follow the Lowes Foods carryout practices.
• Work well with all team members to grow community.
• Continually maintain clean work area.
• Direct guests into his/her lane to maintain guest flow and achieve the Guest Arrival standard of no more than two guests waiting at one lane to checkout.
• Maintain cash controls and procedures to eliminate shrink.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
