Job summary

Panera Bread in Summit, NJ is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warm service and high-quality food in a fast-paced bakery-cafe. You will greet guests, assemble salads, soups, and sandwiches with care, and support daily operations.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, maintaining a clean and safe environment, following food safety standards, and helping set up the next shift.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler's Card or training as required by law (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Prepare and assemble salads, soups, and sandwiches with care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting dining area.
• Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas; support other team members.
• Follow food safety standards and cleaning protocols and adapt to daily priorities.
