Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery - Sugarland Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to provide efficient guest service and maintain the dining area.

You will clean and reset tables, ensure cleanliness of service areas, and assist the crew to keep operations smooth and inviting. Responsibilities include setting tables, clearing dishes, restocking supplies, and following safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in house training.

Responsibilities

• Bus and reset tables.
• Report to work well-groomed in clean, proper uniform and practice good personal hygiene.
• Set dining tables with dishes, silverware, glassware and condiments before service.
• Clear and wipe tables after meals; sanitize surfaces.
• Assist crew members and maintain cleanliness of stations and work areas.
• Perform side work during downtime (restocking condiments, cleaning, etc.).
• Refill ice bins at service station and bar.
• Deliver clean dishes to cooks or expo line.
• Keep manager informed of problems and propose solutions.
• Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors throughout the restaurant.
• Empty trash at expo, service station, and behind bar.
• Clean spills promptly and perform requested maintenance tasks.
