Job summary

EOS Hospitality—Miami Beach is seeking a friendly Dining Room Attendant to prepare dining areas, set tables and ensure guests are greeted promptly. You will assist servers, maintain health and safety standards, and keep the restaurant tidy throughout shifts.

Prior fast-paced hospitality experience is a plus; willingness to work PM shifts, weekends, and holidays is required. Competitive benefits apply for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience
• Preferred to have 1-2 years' experience in high volume, luxury lounge or restaurant
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal in working with high-profile clients and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Flexible to work PM shifts, weekends and holidays
• Standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying
• Bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
• Set tables with required items such as napkins, linens and silverware
• Place tableware on tables
• Serve water and bread baskets where needed
• Refill beverages
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish as needed
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave
• Maintain health and safety regulations at kitchen and dining areas
• Assist servers and hosts when necessary
• Maintain the restaurant areas in a neat and orderly condition
• Assist servers in checking tables for plates, glasses, cleanliness
• Sweep and mop restaurant areas at end of shift and replace mats
