Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Food Court Barista to provide friendly, efficient service by preparing beverages, operating the POS, and maintaining a clean dining area. The role focuses on excellent guest experiences and attention to detail in a fast-paced resort setting.

Responsibilities include coffee drink preparation, cash handling, inventory stocking, and adhering to food safety guidelines while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Experience in food service or customer service preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices.
• Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach to assisting guests.
• Ability to follow instructions and multitask efficiently.
• Ability to operate a POS system, including ability to handle monetary transactions and end-of-day deposits.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, answers questions, and provides information about menu items and the resort.
• Prepares and serves specialty coffee drinks to guest specifications.
• Operates the POS system, processes transactions accurately, and handles end-of-shift cash reconciliation.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment, including wiping tables and chairs, keeping the floor clear, and trash disposal.
• Stocks and replenishes food court items, assists in monitoring inventory levels, and communicates supply needs to the supervisor.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assists with setting up and closing down the food court as needed.
• Maintains a professional and team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
