Job summary

Kansas City Residence Inn by Atrium Hospitality is seeking a friendly breakfast attendant to prepare and present our complimentary breakfast and evening receptions. You will help maintain buffets, stock service areas, and greet guests with a welcoming attitude.

Experience in restaurant or customer service is helpful, but training is available. You must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs, with flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No experience? No problem! If you have a great attitude and love teamwork, we’ll teach you the rest.
• Restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience preferred
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during your shift
• Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Set the stage for a great guest experience by preparing, presenting, and maintaining our complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception.
• Keep everything clean, stocked, and guest-ready—buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment.
• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and handle questions or concerns quickly and professionally.
• Jump in where needed—whether that’s light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or supporting bar/service areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and team members.
• Monitor food quality, proper storage, and temperature standards throughout your shift.
• Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently.
• Communicate key updates during shift changes to keep everyone aligned.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report any issues as needed.
