Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate in Texas to ensure a clean, stocked, and welcoming store. You will deliver an exceptional guest experience at the register or self‑checkout and help keep shelves stocked and fresh. The role offers part‑time or full‑time flexibility in a fast‑paced team setting.

Ideal candidates are dependable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and possess a High School Diploma or GED. Training is provided and opportunities for growth exist within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced guest‑focused environment is a plus.
• Team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• Food handler or alcohol server permits may be required depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile and respond promptly and courteously.
• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self‑checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in store areas and follow safety regulations.
• Restock shelves and display areas; keep the store organized and welcoming.
• Operate the cash register accurately and handle cash/card payments.
• Assist in inventory management and maintain food/beverage availability.
