Job summary

TXB is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support store management in completing daily tasks, including cash handling, customer service, and general housekeeping to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Welcome and assist guests, answer questions, and balance transactions with accuracy.

The role includes operating cash registers, maintaining cleanliness, and participating in store marketing programs.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is necessary
• Successful completion of on-the-job training
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment
• May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers, calculators, or scanners.
• Greet customers as they enter the location.
• Accepts money in the form of cash, credit, and debit cards for items purchased.
• Assist customers with questions or price discrepancies.
• Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift.
• Process returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Identify prices of products and services and tabulate bills with available equipment.
• Assist customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
• Bag, box, and wrap purchased items.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Ensure the proper execution of all assigned store level marketing programs.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (i.e., cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in stock conditions at all times.
• Check in external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures.
• Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resource.
