Job summary

Global Partners LP in Rutland, Vermont is seeking a friendly Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences while completing store-level tasks. You will greet guests, handle POS transactions, and ensure a clean, well-stocked store environment.

The role requires flexible hours, reliability, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Training and onboarding support are provided, with competitive pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outside, in cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies, ensuring in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor-related concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA-approved knives.
