Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help shoppers with questions and recommendations, and to process sales at the cash register. You will maintain cash security, stock levels, and a clean store environment while assisting with unloading trucks and restocking merchandise.

This role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, plus the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.
