Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to greet guests, help with questions, and guide them through store services like Order Pick Up and Drive Up. You will help create a welcoming experience, promote loyalty programs, and learn the tools and apps that make shopping quick and easy.

We offer training, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and a supportive team in a fast-paced environment. You will stock, scan, and assist with returns while upholding safety and store policies.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use Target App features and loyalty programs.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests with their specific needs when they request help.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve issues.
• Thank guests and invite them to shop at Target.
• Know and promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and safely, following safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain Target App features and Wallet to guests.
• Direct guests to enroll in Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Handle returns per policies and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies.
• Demonstrate safety and compliance in all activities.
• Support guest services with compliance to laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.
