Highland Estates invites you to join our dining team as a Server. In this role you will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Candidates should be flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior server or customer service experience is preferred but not required, and we offer a supportive, fun work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous server or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

• Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about the menu items, including specials and recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant's POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently according to restaurant standards.
• Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience by checking on them throughout their meal.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints gracefully and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service areas, and dining environment.
• Assist in setting up, clearing, and resetting tables in preparation for the next service.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform closing duties as required, including cash handling and end-of-shift reports.
