Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and warmly; take orders following steps of service.
Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safety and sanitation.
Advise guests on menu items and beverage pairings; accommodate requests and note preferences.
Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure correct delivery and meet special requests.
Maintain courteous, flexible communication with guests and staff.
Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
Address complaints and relay relevant information to the supervisor.
Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service and keep area clean.
Operate equipment such as telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
Coordinate with other departments during events and functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
