Job summary

The Classic Club, located in Palm Desert, CA, is seeking a motivated Server to join our team. You will serve guests, describe daily specials, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with speed and courtesy.

As part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management, you’ll participate in pre‑shift tastings, maintain a clean workstation, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive, friendly service. High school diploma or GED preferred, on‑the‑job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day and answers questions about menu items.
• Takes food and beverage orders and delivers promptly after preparation.
• Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and tastings.
• Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work.
• Accounts for checks and cash transactions; uses the POS system.
• Follows established service standards and delivers beverages and meals.
• Performs other duties as required.
