Job summary

You will work closely with servers and kitchen staff, uphold health and safety standards, and assist with side stations and dishware handling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a busser in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong English reading and speaking skills.
• Professional grooming aligned with department standards.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Setting and resetting tables with clean dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Pouring water, serving bread, condiments, and side items as needed.
• Demonstrate full menu knowledge and preparation methods.
• Deliver food to guest tables in a courteous manner.
• Describe plates accurately to guests.
• Follow F&B service sequence and standard procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and staff.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
• Bid farewell to guests by name when possible and invite return visits.
• Assist servers with pre-bussing/bussing and service steps.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness during service.
• Stock side stations with china, silverware, and dry goods; handle linens.
• Buff and polish glassware and silverware as required.
• Set up and break down side stations before/after service.
• Load/unload linens when necessary.
• Clean spills immediately with floor signs as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
