Job summary

Roundel is hiring a Guest Advocate to join our team at 201 S Hills Vlg, Pittsburgh. You will greet guests, answer questions, and help with loyalty sign-ups while delivering a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to schedules, assist with digital services, drive-up and order pickup, and maintain store standards. Training will cover product features, safety, and guest engagement to build memorable visits.

The role of a Guest Advocate can provide you with the skills and experience of:*** Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience* Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns* Adapting to different guest interactions and situations* Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services**As a Guest Advocate, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:*** Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:* Greet:* 10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave* 4ft: greet the guest, smile and initiate a warm, helpful interaction* Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience* End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you* Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude* Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience* Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard* Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events. Understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet.* Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application, sign-up, and signing in as needed.* Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.* Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.* Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these features.* Attempt every return or exchange and follow register prompts; partner with immediate leaders as needed to help solve issues for the guest while following Target’s policies and procedures.* Maintain a clean, clutter free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.* Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest.* Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.* Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.* Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.* All other duties based on business needs.**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR****This may be the right job for you if:*** You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with.* You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.* You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).**The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Guest Advocate.
