Capstone is seeking a Guard Shack Attendant in Aurora, CO to monitor facility access, log visitors, and maintain security records. The role requires vigilance, reliability, and adherence to post orders during a 3rd shift from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

The position offers $20/hour with full benefits after 60 days, paid training, and opportunities for growth across our national network of sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or access control is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and follow post orders.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct unarmed foot patrols inside and outside the facility.
• Control access and egress, monitor CCTV and alarms.
• Log visitors and verify access before entry.
• Maintain logs for tractors and trailers, both on paper and electronic records.
• Prepare and file post-incident reports as required.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Guard Shack Attendant, you will conduct unarmed foot (interior and/or exterior), control access and egress, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, compose reports, deter criminal activity and misconduct, and perform other duties as specified in post orders. Other duties include:

• Log in all visitors to the facility. Notify person being visited by phone prior to visitor access.
• Maintain logs of all incoming and outgoing tractors and trailers, bonth on paper and electronically as required. Conduct inspections of all outgoing passenger vehicles, both visitor and employee.
