Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Wexner Medical Center seeks a Genitourinary Oncologist to join the Division of Medical Oncology within Internal Medicine. The role includes inpatient and outpatient patient care, ambulatory clinics, and teaching across residents and students.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO, complete an Oncology/Hematology fellowship, be board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, and have active DEA licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Oncology/Hematology fellowship completed or in progress
• Board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible/certified in Medical Oncology or able to meet licensure in Ohio
• Active DEA certification required

Responsibilities

• Direct and provide patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Conduct ambulatory clinics.
• Interview and review patient histories; perform physical examinations.
• Order diagnostic tests and plan treatments; manage medications.
• Educate patients and families and participate in teaching and quality improvement.
