Job summary
UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA invites qualified physicians to apply for a Genitourinary (GU) Oncology faculty position. The role integrates clinical care of prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers with teaching and research within an academic medical center.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary division with protected administrative time, opportunities for academic appointment, and involvement in clinical trials and education across our network
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology Oncology and eligible for MA medical licensure.
- MD or DO degree required with appropriate medical licensure.
- Experience in Genitourinary (GU) oncology preferred.
- Strong commitment to patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Interest in clinical investigation and teaching in an academic setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive GU oncology care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care with hematology/oncology, pathology, radiology and surgical subspecialties.
- Contribute to clinical research, trials and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in teaching and supervision of fellows, residents and students.
