Qualifications

Role Overview

As the GTM Compensation Analyst at Vanta, you will play a key role in ensuring our GTM teams are incentivized appropriately, leading to higher performance and alignment with our company's strategic objectives.

The GTM Compensation and Rewards team owns the design, implementation, and management of transparent and motivational GTM compensation programs that align with the company's strategic objectives. The plans drive optimal revenue generating behaviors, and reward outstanding performance, ensuring that our GTM professionals are equitably compensated for their contributions towards the organization's growth and success.

You will have the opportunity to build this program as the first dedicated GTM Compensation and Rewards hire, owning plan design and administration to ensure they drive optimal performance.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage competitive and clear compensation plans for revenue-generating teams, ensuring they motivate desired behaviors.

  2. Conduct regular reviews of performance to plan in relation to compensation payouts, providing data-driven recommendations.

  3. Manage tracking for GTM spiffs and incentives, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

  4. Manage and resolve issues or disputes related to GTM compensation promptly.

  5. Maintain and own compensation tooling to ensure accurate reflections of plans, calculations, and payouts.

  6. Create standard operating procedures for reviewing and administering participation agreements for all GTM roles.

  7. Deploy and manage ramp-up for all selling roles in an equitable manner.

Qualifications for Success
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales/GTM compensation or a similar role.

  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.

  3. Experience managing compensation programs for SaaS businesses, especially for Enterprise B2B Software Account Executives and Account Managers.

  4. Prior experience with high-volume deal GTM compensation programs.

  5. Effective communication skills to explain plans and handle disputes.
