Job summary

Lamphere Schools in Michigan seeks a GSRP Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. Compensation is at the appropriate step on the Teachers’ Salary Schedule. Eligible candidates must meet MI credential requirements and hold ZA/ZS or PK-3 certification.

CPR and First Aid current, with fitness-for-duty clearance, are required. The role reports to the Learning Ladder Director, with employment contingent on district policies and a strong attendance record during school hours.

Qualifications

• Meet all credential requirements of the MDE and granting authority.
• Hold a valid MI teaching certificate with a ZA/ZS endorsement or a B-K or PK-3 band.
• Maintain current CPR certification and Standard First Aid.
• Complete a fitness for duty physical and pass as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GSRP instruction to preschool students in Lamphere Schools.
• Uphold professional conduct, reliability, and consistent attendance during school hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must meet all credential requirements of the MDE and granting authority
• Must have a valid MI Teaching certificate with a ZA or ZS endorsement OR a B-K or PK-3 band.
• Current Child/Adult CPR certification and current certification in Standard First Aid
• Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed
• Complete and pass a fitness for duty physical
• Ability to withstand the strain of the position
• Strong interpersonal skills required
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director may find appropriate and acceptable

Reports to: Learning Ladder Director

This position is classified as Exempt
Employment is contingent upon disclosure in accordance with PA-189.
Ability to withstand the strains and successfully manage the responsibilities of the position.
Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality, with a strong record of consistent attendance. Regular and dependable presence during school hours is essential.
All staff members are expected to maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward one another at all times.

Selected candidates will be required to have a district paid fingerprint criminal history check processed through the Michigan State Police and FBI.
