Job summary

Little Sprouts Academy in Eastpointe, MI is seeking a passionate GSRP Teacher to deliver high-quality, state-funded preschool programming and to support young learners in a nurturing classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required by GSRP.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate or ZA endorsement preferred.
• Experience with preschool-aged children in a structured classroom.
• Familiarity with GSRP/HighScope or evidence-based curricula.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with GSRP curriculum standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
• Conduct ongoing child assessments and maintain accurate developmental records and portfolios.
• Collaborate with families through regular communication, home visits, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Partner with co-teachers and support staff to deliver integrated, play-based learning experiences.
• Ensure compliance with GSRP program guidelines, licensing requirements, and quality standards.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and coaching sessions.
