Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Operator in San Diego, CA to monitor CCTV and access systems, identify threats, and coordinate responses in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle real-time surveillance, incident coordination with emergency services, and maintain thorough incident reports while supporting 24/7 operations. 2+ years GSOC-related experience and a BSIS Guard Card are preferred; a bachelor’s degree is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. with BSIS Guard Card.
• 2+ years in GSOC, emergency dispatch, corporate security, or related ops.
• High school diploma; bachelor’s preferred in criminal justice/IR/EM.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; ESRM software experience.
• Ability to communicate clear briefs to leadership under pressure.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with high situational awareness.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and sharp visual concentration.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement background is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Surveillance & Detection of CCTV and Access Control to identify threats.
• Coordinate with emergency services and staff during incidents.
• Operate Fusion Center-style information sharing for threat intelligence.
• Monitor OSINT tools for risks affecting GardaWorld personnel or operations.
• Execute mass notification protocols during critical events.
• Audit access logs and video for investigations and data protection.
• Apply WAVR-21 or other behavioral models to assess risk.
• Maintain detailed shift logs and incident reports.
