Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Security Officer – Surveillance for San Jose, CA. You will monitor security systems, document incidents, and respond to threats across GSOC or patrol environments.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of corporate security experience.
• 1 year of GSOC/SOC/Control Room experience.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Active driver's license.
• Tech savy and proficient with security tech.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• BSIS Guard Card and 32hr BSIS trainings are preferred.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
