About The Position | Major Goals and Objectives and Location Requirements:

People Inc. is seeking an experienced GSOC Coordinator to serve as a trusted operational resource within the Global Security Operations Center. This position performs the full range of GSOC operator duties while also supporting advanced enterprise security work involving intelligence, investigations, travel security, executive protection, and crisis management.

Reporting to the Manager, GSOC & Intelligence, the Coordinator operates security systems, manages incidents and communications, conducts research and assessments, and supports sensitive security matters requiring sound judgment, discretion, strong writing, and independent decision-making.

About The Team | The Team and/or Brand:

The Security team at People Inc. is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, facilities, and assets across all office site locations. The team partners closely with contracted security staff, reception, facilities, event teams, and law enforcement agencies to deliver a consistent and resilient security program.

About The Position's Contributions:
GSOC and Site Security Operations
  • Operate the GSOC and continuously monitor alarms, CCTV, access control, life-safety systems, and other enterprise security technologies.
  • Receive, assess, document, and coordinate the response to security incidents, emergencies, system alerts, and requests for assistance.
  • Dispatch security personnel, maintain communications with field operations, and ensure timely escalation to Security Management and appropriate business partners.
  • Prepare and distribute mass notifications, emergency communications, incident updates, and other enterprise security messages when authorized.
  • Support access-control administration, video review, incident documentation, daily logs, shift turnover, and security-system troubleshooting.
Intelligence and Investigative Support
  • Conduct open-source intelligence research, social media monitoring, threat-actor research, and other authorized intelligence collection in support of active security matters.
  • Assist with threat assessments, workplace violence concerns, criminal and administrative investigations, background research, and investigative case support.
  • Support executive and brand threat monitoring by identifying, documenting, and escalating information that may indicate risk to employees, executives, offices, events, or company operations.
  • Produce clear, accurate, and timely incident reports, intelligence summaries, investigative memoranda, and executive-ready briefing materials.
Travel, Executive, and Crisis Support
  • Monitor employee and executive travel, assess destination and geopolitical risk, and support traveler accountability during incidents or emergencies.
  • Provide operational and intelligence support for executive travel, protective operations, corporate events, and other elevated-risk activities.
  • Monitor global incidents, severe weather, civil unrest, geopolitical developments, and other events that could affect company personnel or operations.
  • Support crisis activations through situational awareness, communications, incident tracking, escalation, and preparation of situation reports.
Program and Operational Support
  • Work closely with Security Operations personnel to coordinate field response, information sharing, and operational support during incidents and special events.
  • Support the Manager, GSOC & Intelligence with program documentation, procedures, audits, metrics, training materials, and special projects.
  • Handle sensitive company, employee, investigative, and executive information with discretion and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain a professional, service-oriented approach when assisting employees, executives, visitors, law enforcement, vendors, and business partners.
The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Education:

Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, intelligence studies, security management, emergency management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in law enforcement, intelligence, investigations, corporate security, military service, emergency management, or a related public safety field.
  • Demonstrated experience with investigations, intelligence research, threat assessments, analytical research, or other complex security work beyond routine monitoring and dispatch.
  • Ability to independently operate a command center environment, manage competing priorities, assess incomplete information, and make timely, defensible decisions.
  • Excellent written communication and report-writing skills, including the ability to organize complex information into concise operational or executive summaries.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.
  • Working knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, incident management, mass notification, and common GSOC or physical security technologies.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn investigative, intelligence, travel-monitoring, and security-system platforms.
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening and obtain required certifications after hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior law enforcement experience, particularly in investigations, intelligence, detective operations, emergency response, or command-center functions.
  • Experience in a GSOC, Security Operations Center, Emergency Operations Center, Fusion Center, intelligence unit, investigative unit, or comparable environment.
  • Experience with OSINT, social media research, threat management, travel security, executive protection support, or crisis monitoring.
  • Relevant certifications such as APP, CPP, PSP, PCI, First Aid, CPR, AED, or similar credentials.

Pay Range

Hourly: New York: $30.00 - $34.00
