Job summary

Lynden Air Cargo is seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain ground support equipment supporting aircraft operations across Alaska and beyond.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, keeping accurate records, and ensuring safe, reliable operations. Must read manuals, solve problems, and communicate effectively; travel may be required domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and apply maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on ground support equipment per company policies and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and safety of work.
• Identify discrepancies and implement lockout/tagout when needed.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and fleet readiness.
• Coordinate GSE inventory, budgeting, and future equipment needs; travel as required.
