Job summary

AOC Global Services LLC seeks an experienced AGE/GSE technician for USAF fighter assets. The role requires hands-on servicing, maintenance, and inspections of AGE/GSE, with readiness for mobility deployments.

Applicants must have 8+ years of USAF or sister service AGE/GSE experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to interpret technical data. Security clearance and potential CMA color vision checks may be required. Deployment and climb-heavy work are expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in USAF or sister service fighter AGE GSE.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in interpreting technical data and operating instructions.
• Must be willing to deploy off-station and obtain necessary clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and inspections of AGE/GSE.
• Prepare AGE for storage and mobility deployment.
• Diagnose and repair AGE using drawings, schematics, and test equipment.
• Document maintenance actions in MIS and logs.
• Lead teams on complex inspections and repairs as required.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications; perform ancillary duties as needed.

Job description

• Performs all required servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
• Prepares AGE for storage and mobility deployment.
• Will be required to solve and repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical publications, and analyzes or repairs AGE using conventional and digital multi- meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools.
• Stores, handles, uses, and disposes of hazardous material and waste according to environmental standards.
• Request engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Receives technical guidance from Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and provides technical guidance to lower-level technicians as required.
• Will be required to obtain and maintain special certifications as directed by management.
• Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to vehicle or equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required.
• Will be required to monitor and lead teams to perform more complex inspections and repairs.
• Will be required to write/initiate engineering technical assistance requests.
• Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, and leads

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years performing as USAF or sister service fighter AGE GSE is required. Complete working knowledge of MIS systems, forms documentation and strict adherence to technical data is required
• High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language
• Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements
• Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms). Performs vehicle use inspection s, cleaning, and wash
• Performs any other supportive duties as assigned
• Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required)
• Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test
• Environment ranges from office, hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands
• May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract
