Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team. The LPN/LVN will provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN, gathering data, carrying out orders, and performing procedures in line with PAM Health policies.

Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state or a compact licensure is required, plus BLS (AHA) certification within 90 days. Inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required; BLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit, including data gathering and reporting, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures.
• Work with patients in age- and population-appropriate manner, following PAM Health policies and guidelines.
